Susie Freedman develops and manages learner-focused programs and new businesses across the K-20, career readiness and professional development spectrum utilizing digital learning and mobile technologies for student engagement and success. As Program Manager for the Personalized Learning Consortium, Susie manages the BMGF Accelerating Adaptive Courseware grant.
In the workforce readiness sphere, Susie recently provided program development for the Skills Market Network as part of a BMGF business planning grant and for two U.S. Department of Labor TAACCCT Grants. She served as Director of Strategy and Development at MSUGlobal at Michigan State University where she directed the first-ever online learning program for Master Gardeners, The Horticultural Gardening Institute. She served on the business development team for The George Washington University's Prometheus Learning Management System, and consulted with The Open University of the United Kingdom for its start-up, The U.S. Open University. She received her B.A. from Justin Morrill College at Michigan State University.
