CICEP Leadership

The Commission on Innovation, Competitiveness and Economic Prosperity (CICEP) is convened by APLU's Office of Economic Development & Community Engagement and comprised of various member-driven leadership committees. These committees undertake projects and initiatives that advance the practice, study and communication of university-based economic development and engagement through the sharing of best practices, by producing reports, tools and position statements, convening meetings and other efforts. CICEP serves as a vehicle for leaders of APLU member institutions to collectively study and address the most pressing challenges and areas of opportunities facing public research universities in the realm of university economic engagement.
