Advise graduate students (largely those enrolled online and through OSU-Tulsa), with an emphasis on maintaining ongoing focus for retention, outreach, and diversity; evaluates student records; performs administrative duties and special projects as assigned; represents Spears School of Business at student organizational meetings and functions; assists with various programs which may include minimal teaching responsibilities. Assists with faculty support activities related to graduate education and research. Supports communication activities with graduate program stakeholders. All other duties as assigned. Salaries and rank commensurate with education and experience. Promotional opportunities may be available within established career development plan. Busy office with frequent interruptions. Occasional evenings and weekends will be required to attend student events. Occasionally travel to OSU-Tulsa campus to provide in-person office hours for Tulsa based students.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree. Computer proficiency. Will be required to utilize Banner and other university computer programs to assist with student enrollment and advisement processes. Must be service oriented and able to work with a diverse group of faculty, staff, students, and the general public in a fast-paced environment with many interruptions. Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in Social Science or Higher Education and four years’ experience in a related setting.
