a) To manage and maintain faculty support operations within the College of Law
b) To provide administrative support of the College of Law
c) To manage fiscal processes within the College of Law, not including clinic and student services fiscal processes
d) to manage the Textbook Coordination process
Approximately 2-5 years experience working in an academic setting or general office providing administrative support.
Professional experience with interpreting, applying and explaining complex information such as regulations, policies or services.
Independently solving problems/performing liaison activities in a work setting.
Strong working knowledge of office equipment and computer skills using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Adobe and similar programs.
Strong demonstration of ability to produce professional business documents with accuracy.
Strong working knowledge of effective use of email and etiquette considerations.
Professional experience coordinating activities requiring complex arrangements.
Experience: working in a higher education or legal setting; maintaining a website.
Demonstrated ability to successfully use word processing software to compose a variety of professional business documents (including merges).
Demonstrated ability to successfully use spreadsheet software to develop calculations (write simple functions) to compile data for reports.
Demonstrated ability to use email and web software to send and receive communications, information, and process business transactions.
Demonstrated ability, with minimal supervision, to independently coordinate/process delegated assignments, sometimes with complexity.
Ability to take initiative to plan and complete assigned projects; recognize errors and solve problems to make improvements short and long-term.
Demonstrated success in providing administrative assistance while balancing numerous tasks/assignments with accuracy and interruption.
Working knowledge of Banner modules.
Ability to interact with diverse individuals in a clear, concise and positive manner; to communicate effectively orally and in writing; to listen carefully and patiently and ask clarifying questions.
Enjoy customer service and diversified daily routine.
Possess strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
