Pay Range: $12.02 - $12.72/hour

Full/Part Time: Full Time

Position Summary:

Responsible for providing administrative support duties for the department, including selling, stocking and distributing inventory of publications and promotional materials, assists with publishing processes under the direction of the Publishing Director, scheduling department conference room, be the primary office contact for faculty members and staff, assists with stewardship efforts for the college and perform other related office support duties.

Minimum Qualifications:

Good knowledge of office support functions including word processing; filing; composing a variety of business documents; telephone and face-to-face reception; researching, compiling and summarizing data from reports; financial record keeping methods.

Must be a self-starter and have the ability to work independently with little or no supervision.

Must demonstrate evidence of: strong customer service skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Acumen accounting software.

Experience in maintaining inventory records;

Experience with FastTrack online manuscript submission

Knowledge of University of Idaho Extension programs and a demonstrated ability to work professionally with people from a variety of backgrounds

Demonstrated ability to work under stress, perform last minute duties under the pressure of deadlines, maintain confidentiality

Demonstrated ability to be organized, be self-directed; complete assignments with minimal supervision; perform detailed work; apply good decision-making skills

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:

Must be able to lift and or otherwise move up to 50 pounds and be able to stand for extended periods of time.
