Area Extension Agent

4-H Youth Development, Agriculture Business Management, Livestock/Range

Southeast Area, Cheyenne County, Cheyenne Wells, CO

The agent will provide leadership and organization in the development, implementation, evaluation, and reporting of educational programs in 4-H youth development, agriculture business and Livestock/Range. This position will deliver educational programming throughout the community, build relationships and support for Extension programming, develop and deliver high quality programming that aligns with county and stakeholder interests focusing on Cheyenne County and assisting in other counties as appropriate.

Completed bachelor’s degree. One degree must have been conferred in agriculture, agriculture business management, animal science, range/livestock management, education, youth development or a closely related field prior to beginning the position.
