Computer Programmer Analyst

As a part of the Facilities Management IT team, the individual will utilize HTML, XML, C#, JAVAScript, JAVA, CSS and other web-based tools to develop and support software, especially the CMMS. Working knowledge and experience with Microsoft SQL Server is highly desirable, including writing SQL queries and scripts. Utilization of relational database management systems and development of integration pieces. Perform other IT functions as required. Periodically this position requires work after normal working hours. Due to communication expectations of the position, the incumbent will be required to maintain a personal cell phone and will be required to be continually available both during and after normal working hours. The incumbent's salary includes compensation to apply toward the use of their personal cellular device. This position will work with a keyboard and mouse.

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's in MIS, Computer Science, Information and Communication Technology, or other related field. One year of related experience in SQL, JS, CSS, C#, Java or other web-based tools. Have before hire and maintain after hire a valid driver's license. A valid driver's license must be maintained for the operation of an OSU vehicle, which is required in the performance of job duties as assigned. The position requires the ability to be creative and work on projects independently or as a member of a project team. Proficient in utilization of SQL, Java, JavaScript, C#, CSS, and XML. Ability to write customized SQL queries, scripts, and technical knowledge to develop ad hoc reports. Knowledge of Apache/Tomcat and IIS. The position will require lifting up to 50 lbs. Preferred qualifications: Master's degree. Three years demonstrated experience with HTML, XML, C#, JAVAScript, JAVA, CSS and Visual Basic is desirable. Three years writing SQL queries and scripts in MS SQL or MySQL. Experience with Microsoft SQL Server is highly recommended. Advanced experience in the configuration and utilization of Apache/Tomcat, IIS and ETL. Report Writing experience is highly desirable. Proficient in utilization of HTML and PHP. Knowledge of the desktop support function and basic network skills. Proficient with creating, developing, and automating scripts using various methods.
