Contractor, Personalized Learning Consortium

Job Type: Contract

Experience: Articulate Storyline 360 and Rise: 1 year (Preferred)

We're looking for a contract Instructional Designer and eLearning Developer to help us out with a part-time project for the next eight weeks. We'll provide written content and will work together to create storyboards for five brief courses/modules on related topics. We'll need you to bring these storyboards to life using Articulate Storyline 360 or Articulate Rise.

Applicants must be available during US ET business hours for phone and video working sessions with our team and to make timely revisions.

About the project:

  • The project is lead by the Personalized Learning Consortium (PLC) at APLU. Contractor will work with the PLC team.
  • Primary audience of higher education administrators focused on change management
  • Content focus is on analyzing the return on investment (ROI) of learning technologies in higher education and strategies to improve ROI
  • Five brief courses / modules to be developed based on written topic briefs and case studies with the goal of communicating complex concepts and strategies in a format that is easy to understand and inspires a deeper dive
  • Content to be delivered on a publicly accessible website as part of an information sharing effort
  • Articulate content to be published by end of March 2019

About you:

  • You have experience designing e-learning for audiences of professionals in higher education
  • Are a wizard at using Articulate Storyline 360 and Articulate Rise
  • Have an aptitude for visual and user experience design
  • You're technologically-oriented, and can provide input on website hosting of the Articulate content
  • Are able to work independently, but also are free to collaborate with our team, and navigate demanding deadlines
  • You have availability on an on-going basis for potential updates to the Articulate content beyond the scope of this contract
