The Department of Environmental Health Sciences (EHS) in the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health (FSPH) invites applications for a temporary non-tenure track lecturer position to teach a graduate-level course in the fall quarter of the 2018-2019 academic year.
The course, EHS 100 “Introduction to Environmental Health” is an introduction to environmental health, including coverage of chronic and acute health effects of environmental contaminants. Responsibilities include the preparation of course materials, teaching and grading. This course meets twice a week and has an anticipated enrollment of 110 students.
Lecturer appointments are part-time and made quarter by quarter based on instructional need and budget constraints.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree in Environmental Health Sciences and relevant professional experience
SALARY: commensurate with qualifications and experience.
