The Instructor of Operations Management teaches the equivalent of seven, three credit classes per academic year as requested by the Department of Business administrator within the College of Business and Economics. The instructor will also be able and willing to teach discrete event simulation as a tool for process management and have the ability to manage the Business Process Management Center at the CBE . This center enables the students in the simulation/process management class to conduct process improvement projects with organizations located mainly in the Northwestern United States. Travel is required. Management of this center is the equivalent of one three credit class.
Masters of Business Administration or affiliated field.
Active in the field of operations management.
Demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching.
Willingness to teach a variety of Operation Management courses, including the Systems and Simulation course and other general business courses.
Willingness to travel.
Demonstrated excellence in teaching in the field of operations management or related field.
