Position Summary:

Regular Faculty to teach Agricultural Communications and Agricultural Leadership. Provide leadership for distance education degree program in Agricultural Science, Communications and Leadership. Plan and conduct research and other scholarly activities related to Agricultural Communications and Agricultural Leadership. Provide significant leadership, organization and supervision to the Idaho State FFA Association's Career Development Events and Leadership Development Events.

Minimum Qualifications:

An earned doctorate in Agricultural Leadership, Agricultural Communications, or closely related field (by date of hire).

Successful teaching experience at the college level in either agricultural communications or agricultural leadership (including graduate assistantships, etc.).

Demonstrated ability to communicate and work effectively with students, peers and clientele groups.

Evidence of skills in computer and/or other educational technology applications.

Documented scholarly activity including a publication record.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience within an agricultural teacher education program.

Industry experience in agricultural communications and/or leadership.
