Research Study Coordinator (50%)
Salary: $1,332.50 - $1,726.50
This position is located in Poplar, MT.
Coordinates operations of research studies involving human subjects applying knowledge and skills that are specific to the study and that meet the mission and goals of the program under general supervision of the Principal Investigator (PI) and applicable senior research coordinator staff (supervisor).
Coordinate, schedule and monitor research activities and subject participation. Interpret and apply study protocols, conduct interviews, administer tests and record observations. Coordinate management of study data, monitor data to maintain quality control. Assists with budget and finance activities, including but not limited to, participant payments, and monitoring inventory.
Required Qualifications: Two years of college level course work in a relevant academic area AND two years of experience as a Research Study Assistant OR equivalent education/experience. Experience reviewing records and charts and extracting necessary information. Proficient with Microsoft Office suite products. Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license by time of hire.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience recruiting study participants for research studies. Evidence of strong interpersonal skills and competence communicating and working with health professionals, faculty members and researchers, and diverse groups within the general public. Experience working with American Indian/Alaska Native communities. Demonstrated experience developing and using database systems such as REDCap in a research setting.
