Senior Player Development Coordinator

Oklahoma State University Athletics Center is seeking applicants for the position of Sr. Player Development, OSU Men's Basketball. Actively contributes as a member of the OSU Men's Basketball management team with core responsibility for creating and delivering programs to support and develop life-skills for student-athletes.  In correlation with coaching staff, mentors student-athletes to ensure successful interactions while dealing with the pressures associated with college life and athletics.  Coordinates and organizes various aspects of OSU Men's Basketball program under the general direction of the Head Coach and Assistant Athletic Director. Travel is required in performing this job:  In and Out of state team travel and various athletic functions at throughout the year. Normal work schedule is 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Friday.  However, circumstances will arise that make it necessary for employee to be able to work weekends and evenings during annual events, i.e.: recruiting weekends, game days, junior recruit days, clinics, etc. 

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor degree in Business, Sports Management or a related field and 5 years high school or college basketball coaching or administration and supervisory experience. Excellent management and organizational skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Knowledge of computer software. Willing to travel and work unusual hours. Prefer candidate with Master's Degree in Business, Sports Management or a related field and experience in NCAA Division I Athletics, preferred knowledge of NCAA and Big XII Conference rules pertaining to Division 1-A Athletics.
