Reporting to the Director of Employee Development and Workforce Diversity, this position provides primary administrative support for the University of Idaho employee learning management system and coordination of professional development offerings for University of Idaho employees.
High school diploma or equivalent and 2 years related work experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
Experience in workshop/event coordination, scheduling and management
Experience composing a variety of business documents, managing, compiling, and summarizing data for reports
Outstanding customer service skills
Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of groups (such as faculty, staff, administrators) and build productive working relationships
Ability to work in a busy environment with shifting priorities
Ability to complete work accurately, attend to deadlines and handle detailed work
Bachelor’s degree in human resource, business, education, or communication
Demonstrated success in a professional training environment or experience in human resources.
Working knowledge of Content Management Systems (CMS) or Learning Management Systems (LMS)
Experience interpreting, applying and explaining complex information such as policies or services
Demonstrated experience as an independent problem solver
Ability to work with minimal supervision/direction
Familiarity with UI policies and procedures
