President Trump says he’s going to push back against limits of free speech at colleges, a move that’s cheered by a founder of a major organization that focuses on campus civil rights. Trump, speaking at the Conservative Political Action Conference this weekend, said, “Today, I am proud to announce that I will be very soon signing an executive order requiring colleges and universities to support free speech if they want federal research funds.”

"If they want our dollars and we give them by the billions, they’ve got to allow people to speak," said Trump in a speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference.
