The Board on Agriculture Assembly (BAA) is a unit of the Association of Public and Land-grant Universities (A۰P۰L۰U) Commission on Food, Environment, and Renewable Resources (CFERR). The purpose of the BAA is the promotion of agriculture in all of its phases (food, environment, agriculture, natural resources, and international) in the state universities and land-grant colleges of the states, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the territories of the Pacific, and the U. S. Virgin Islands.
The BAA is comprised of the following sections: Academic Programs Section; Administrative Heads Section; Cooperative Extension Section; Experiment Station Section; and, the International Agriculture Section.
:: CFERR Events Calendar This calendar contains all of the meetings and events of the BAA.:: The New Dean/Director/Administrator/National Program Leader Orientation has been scheduled for December 3-5, 2013 in Alexandria, VA. This workshop is intended for individuals representing the Boards on Agriculture Assembly and Human Sciences-member institutions and USDA-NIFA personnel who have entered an administrative position since 2010 and any others who would like to learn more about A۰P۰L۰U, BAA, BoHS, USDA-NIFA, and the Land-Grant University System.
