The purpose of the Commission on Access, Diversity and Excellence Summer Meeting is to build a network of institutions that are committed to implementing an action-oriented agenda to improve student outcomes by convening university presidents, provosts, chief diversity officers, student affairs professionals, and enrollment managers to develop and share campus-based strategies.
Learning Technology
To help college and university leaders implement new systems for redesigning advising and supporting students across their campuses, APLU developed an online course: A SMART Approach to Student Success: Strategic Management of Advising Reform and Technology.
STEM Education
APLU INCLUDES is an NSF-backed initiative aimed at expanding the diversity of STEM faculty by increasing the number and percentage of underrepresented and traditionally underserved groups, consisting of women, members of minority racial and ethnic groups, persons with disabilities, and those from low socioeconomic backgrounds.

The HBCU ICE Collaborative is a cohort of 15 public and private HBCUs that are committed to participating in a multi-year collaboration that will foster innovation, commercialization and entrepreneurship on their respective campuses to improve student success by implementing new institutional courses, transforming faculty pedagogy and creating partnerships with government and private industries.
