IEP Submission Process & Guidelines
The IEP Universities program is divided into two submission processes—one for the designation and one for the awards. A university must be a recipient of the designation before it can apply for the award.
Application items should be submitted via email to CICEP at APLU (firstname.lastname@example.org). Applications must be submitted as Microsoft Word Documents.
Application submissions are accepted on a rolling basis several times a year. The submission dates for 2017 are:
- February 3
- May 5
- August 4
- December 1
Your designation application submission will include three parts:
- Process Narrative
- Summary of Accomplishments
- Growth/Improvement Plan

Should you qualify for the 2017 awards program, applications for the awards will be due Friday, August 4, 2017.
Award applications will include two parts:
- Institutional Economic Engagement Overview
- Case Studies
