Lexus is a graduate of North Carolina State University with a B.A in International Studies and a B.A in Spanish Language and Literature. She also completed minor certificates in both French and Chinese Language and Culture. In 2021, she earned an M.A in International Education from The George Washington University (GW). 

Her research interests include the experiences of students with disabilities in higher education, DEI efforts in education abroad and higher education organization more broadly. During her time as a graduate student, she worked with GW Graduate School of Education and Human Development (GSEHD) faculty on research efforts in the areas of refugee student experiences in higher education and global higher education response to Covid-19. In addition to supporting the work of her professors, she has written a reflective piece for Diversity Abroad and a journal article for Frontiers: The Interdisciplinary Journal of Study Abroad. 

Professionally, Lexus is extremely passionate about any opportunity to serve as a support or resource to those around her. She loves working with people, learning new perspectives, and helping to enhance the experience(s) of others. A lifelong learner, she enjoys visiting museums, attending academic/professional events and enrolling in recreational classes in her free time.
