Florencia Drumwright serves as the Associate for the Board on Human Sciences (BoHS), Council for Agricultural Research, Extension, and Teaching (CARET), and Cooperative Extension/ECOP.
Prior to joining APLU, she worked as a Care Coordinator with Magellan, providing mental health support and case management for more than 350 adults and children affected by chronic mental illness or homelessness. She's taken many roles in areas of public health such that of a wellness coordinator, were she was responsible for developing effective programs regarding physical and educational opportunities to post-rehabilitation patients. While completing her B.S in Health Science and Public Health at Marymount University, she worked as a certified personal trainer and a home health office manager. Florencia is a first-generation college graduate and is currently completing her Master of Public Health at the University of Vermont.
Outside of work, Florencia volunteers at her local health department and is a member of the American Public Health Association. She enjoys reading, time with her pets and traveling the world with her husband.
