Rifa Ariella joins APLU as a Program Associate in the office of STEM education. She supports with the Assistant Vice President with the ASPIRE Alliance IChange Network Initiative through administrative and communications work.
Prior to joining APLU, Rifa worked as an Executive Associate for Montgomery College alongside the Achieving Collegiate Excellence and Success (ACES) pathway program promoting student diversity, equity, and success in higher education. Rifa has also completed several policy-based internships in the DC area including The National Association of Workforce Boards, as well as The Education Trust where she supported the communications departments.
Rifa is a graduate of Montgomery College where she received her A.A. in Communications and then transferred to Trinity Washington University where she received her B.A. in Communications in 2021.
