In response to the growing need for data-informed insights, representatives from APLU, INTO University Partnerships, and NAFSA: Association of International Educators collaborated for more than a year to triangulate data from nearly a dozen publicly available and credible sources to determine statistically significant factors influencing international student enrollment growth and decline over a period of 2 decades.

In these challenging times, the Coalition of Urban Serving Universities has had a year it can be proud of. We were able to pivot to quickly meet the needs of our members, delivering weekly presidents calls, regular provost and member calls, and an innovative summer meeting that allowed us to explore different ways to respond to the multiple challenges we face.

In 2016, Oregon State University was one of eight universities to receive a grant from APLU to implement and scale adaptive courseware in high-enrollment foundational courses.
