Developed as part of APLU’s Network of STEM Education Centers (NSEC), this Guide provides reflective questions and rubrics that help STEM Education Centers and Centers for Teaching and Learning assess their impact on improving undergraduate STEM education. The Guide draws on 12 institutional case studies, a national survey of centers, and two peer-reviewed research articles by Carlisle and Weaver (2018, 2020).
