Policy Board of Directors

The Policy Board of Directors (PBD) of the Board on Agriculture Assembly (BAA) takes appropriate action on key matters affecting the interests of the member institutions and of the Assembly and is responsible to APLU for the management of Assembly affairs.  You may track the actions of the PBD through their minutes and section reports by clicking here.

A listing of the 2019 BAA Policy Board of Directors can be found by clicking here. The Policy Board of Directors of the Board on Agriculture Assembly compiled an annual report for the period of October 1, 2018 - September 20, 2019.

The PBD has two standing committees, and they are:  (1) Budget and Advocacy Committee (BAC) and (2) Committee on Legislation and Policy (CLP).

Iowa State University will establish and host a new national Institute for Antimicrobial Resistance Research and Education. APLU and the Association of American Veterinary Medical Colleges (AAVMC) chose Iowa State to lead the institute, which is designed to foster and coordinate research and education activities using a One Health approach to comprehensively tackle the AMR problem.
