CIMA Committees

The Executive Committee is responsible for guiding CIMA to identify key topics and activities that support evidence-based decision-making at public higher education institutions. This committee typically meets five times a year: at the annual meeting, during the CIMA Summer Meeting, and three other times by web conference. Committee members are elected every two years and serve two-year terms, and the officers are elected every two years and serve four-year terms.

The Program Planning Committee typically meets monthly from December through May to identify topics and content to support the Summer Meeting and the CIMA program at the APLU Annual Meeting. This committee is comprised of volunteers who serve a one-year term, and the committee chair is a selected member of the Executive Committee. The Data & Policy Advisory Committee provides feedback and input to APLU on topics related to national, regional, and/or state data policy and legislative issues. The committee meets quarterly and, on an ad-hoc basis as legislative issues arise. Members serve two-year terms. Featured Project & Initiative

Powered by Publics is convening nearly 125 change-ready institutions within 16 “transformation clusters” focused on solving different pieces of the student success puzzle. Participating institutions are working collaboratively to increase college access, eliminate the achievement gap, and award hundreds of thousands more degrees by 2025.
