Association of Public and Land-grant Universities President Peter McPherson joined with leaders of other higher education and research groups in sending a letter to the Andrew Wheeler, Acting Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), expressing concerns with a rule the agency proposed that would limit the science it considers critical in rulemaking activities to studies for which all underlying data are publicly available for analysis. The letter calls on the EPA to withdrawal the proposed rule.
