ACE, joined by APLU, sent a conference letter regarding H.R.4521 America COMPETES Act of 2022 and the U.S. Innovation and Competition Act (S.1260) to the Hill. The final letter had 22 higher education associations signed on in support. The letter echoed several items that were also highlighted in APLU’s February letter and expands on concerns about provisions focused on Department of Education foreign gift and contract reporting.
