APPOINTMENT: South Dakota State University (SDSU), Department of Finance and Budget, is offering an exciting career opportunity as an Accounts Payable Supervisor for the SDSU campus as well as the Board Of Regents (BOR) system. This position is supervised by the Director of Shared Services. This is a 12-month, full-time, benefit-eligible, non-faculty exempt position.
POSITION PURPOSE: The Accounts Payable Supervisor will manage all operations of the SD BOR Accounts Payable Shared Service Center as well as the SDSU Accounts Payable Office to ensure vendor payments are processed accurately and timely.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: This position will provide focus and oversight of all payments made by SDSU University departments and provide guidance and ensure compliance for all SDBOR payments by enforcing all state and university policies and procedures. The successful candidate will demonstrate capability in meeting operational needs, continually looking for efficiencies, and apply development, execution, and improvement of action plans. The successful candidate will possess leadership skills, provide, and support the implementation of business solutions and be able to lead and coordinate activities in a collegial and collaborative environment.

SDSU Accounts Payable/BOR Accounts Payable Shared Service Center is a team of six employees, within the Financial Services unit, more specifically the BOR Shared Service unit. This unit also includes the BOR Shared Service Centers of Payroll and Shared International Employment Services as well as the SDSU Purchasing Office. The Accounts Payable team is committed to meeting the business and financial needs of the SDSU community in a pleasant, professional, and efficient manner.
