The Professional Development Program (PDP) of the University at Albany’s Rockefeller College seeks service-minded individuals who are committed to performing high-quality work to fill two Administrative Assistant II positions in Albany, NY.
Description of Duties:
The Administrative Assistant II assists with day-to-day functions related to workforce training programs, including recording events in learning management system, providing administrative support to trainers, processing supply and other orders, and coordinating travel arrangements and reimbursements.
Duties include, but are not limited to, entering and processing class offerings, registration and attendance data; assisting in project reporting; providing administrative support to project trainers; communicating with program participants; arranging travel and processing reimbursements for staff and program participants; assisting in preparation of training materials and facilitating material distribution including shipping to training sites and other locations as needed; obtaining quotes and processing purchase requisitions for supplies, equipment, venues, print orders, and other project related needs; answering phones and responding to inquiries; scanning and file management; and other duties as assigned to fulfill contractual obligations.
SPECIAL NOTES: Employment is with The Research Foundation for The State University of New York, a private, nonprofit, educational corporation that administers sponsored program activity for the University at Albany. Salary is expected to be in the mid to high $30s.
