About This Role:
The Department of Anatomy and Physiology in the College of Veterinary Medicine at Kansas State University is seeking applications for a 9-month, tenure-track, or clinical-track, Assistant or Associate Professor Faculty position with a primary emphasis in teaching Veterinary and Comparative Human Gross Anatomy. The successful applicant will be expected to devote approximately 80 - 90% effort to teaching veterinary anatomy in the professional (DVM) program and comparative anatomy in a newly developed One-Year non-thesis MS program. This includes contributing to both semesters of team-taught anatomy courses. The successful applicant is also expected to devote approximately 10 - 20% effort to research or teaching scholarship in his or her area of interest. The successful candidate will join an active anatomy teaching group with expertise in all aspects of veterinary anatomy and will join a department dedicated to excellence in teaching and research. Departmental researchers demonstrate expertise in cell and tissue signaling, immunophysiology, nanotechnology, pharmacology and pharmacokinetics, integrative and systems physiology, neuroscience, animal welfare, pain management and teaching.

• DVM and/or PhD degree or equivalent
• Demonstrate a strong record of excellence in teaching

Preferred Qualifications:

• Documented record of accomplishment in research and/or teaching scholarship is highly desirable.
