The South Dakota State University School of Design invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Practice in Graphic Design to begin no later than August 2022. This is a full-time, 9-month, benefit-eligible term appointment and the position reports to the Director of the School of Design.
The School of Design includes the visual arts: graphic design, and studio arts and the built environment: architecture, interior design and landscape architecture. Collectively, School faculty form a collaborative teaching and research environment that values cross-program and interdisciplinary initiatives. The successful candidate will contribute to building national and international stature and recognition for the discipline, School and University.
