The Plainsman Research Lead/Center Manager position is responsible for research and outreach projects pertaining to locally adapted cropping systems, and outreach/extension activities at the Plainsman Center (PRC). The individual is also responsible for coordinating the PRC-related research activities of on-campus faculty and graduate students. This position is responsible for research, farming and agronomic operations of the Plainsman facilities, equipment and cropland. The position will also collaborate with area and state Extension personnel to address current and emerging issues in water-limited cropping systems.
