MU TITLE: Senior Program/Project Support Coordinator
LOCATION: Columbia, Missouri
The University of Missouri (MU) Office of Extension and Engagement’s distinct land-grant mission is to improve lives, communities, and economies by producing relevant, reliable, and responsive educational strategies throughout Missouri. This position is responsible for managing the implementation of farm-to-institution and food systems strategies for the SNAP-Ed grant, funded by USDA. Responsibilities include building partnerships among Missouri stakeholders in support of farm-to-institution and other food systems work supporting nutrition security for Missourians. The position will provide technical assistance, resource materials and training to organizations to implement the food system policies or practices that support nutrition security. Duties also include providing presentations for other entities to increase support for implementation of work in the food system, including farm-to-institution, that supports nutrition security.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Supervision will be received from the Nutrition, Home & Family Educational Director within MU Extension.

Salary
Salary commensurate with education and experience.
Salary Range: $47,476 - $65,468

Shift
Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Ability to travel and work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends, is required to fulfill assigned responsibilities.
Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.
