About This Role:
The College of Education is seeking a dynamic, hardworking, and highly skilled professional for the position of Grant Specialist. This position will assist faculty with pre-and post-award grant activities including budget development, proposal preparation, sub-award initiation and accounting, and advising department financial staff on issues related to post-award grant management. This position will interact on a regular basis with faculty, staff, and administrators within the College of Education.

What You'll Need to Succeed:
Minimum Qualifications:
• Requires a bachelor's degree and one to three years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Demonstrated high skill level in word processing, spreadsheets, and other software programs including but not limited to: Microsoft Office, Google Suite and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential/sensitive information with discretion.
• Experience working with federal grants.
• Experience working in post-secondary education.
• Experience working with grant research.
• Demonstrated ability to research and use critical analysis skills.
• Demonstrated ability of reading, comprehending, interpreting, and applying complex language such as legal or government regulations and proposal guidelines.
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrated ability to exhibit professional judgment, problem-solving, time management, decision making, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated skill in communicating effectively both orally and in writing, with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Demonstrated ability to complete multiple tasks with frequent interruptions and high volume of work with deadlines.

Anticipated Hiring Salary Range:
