About This Role:

The Health Educator will develop and provide campus-wide health and well-being centric programs as well as educate students, faculty, and staff about health and well-being resources available on and beyond the campus. This position will serve as a primary information resource for K-State students all things health and well-being.

Develops and presents health and well-being education/promotion/outreach programs for K-State students, faculty, and staff. Plans and implements outreach events and activities for the Morrison Family Center for Student Well-being, Lafene Health Center, and Kansas State University.

Teaches classes related to health and well-being on behalf of the Morrison Family Center for Student Well-being, Lafene Health Center, and Kansas State University.

Other duties as assigned by the Director or Director's designee.

What You'll Need to Succeed:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree with coursework and/or training in nursing, public health, health and well-being, social work, communications, or related field

• One to three years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Two years of relevant professional experience

• Group presentation skills and experience

• Five or more years of experience working with young adults in the area of well-being and prevention

• Proven audiovisual production or broadcasting skills are a plus

Anticipated Hiring Salary Range:
