About This Role:
Kansas State University’s Aerospace and Technology Campus in Salina is seeking applications for a full-time Professional Pilot faculty member. The successful candidate shall teach undergraduate students covering subject matter in professional pilot curriculum (existing and future courses). This is an open-rank, nine-month position, with expected effort in teaching, service, and scholarship as appropriate to the academic rank. The position includes a full benefit package.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:
Minimum Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree
• Teaching experience
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Desire to work with interdisciplinary teams
• FAA flight instructor, airplane certificate

Preferred Qualifications:

• FAA Part 141 experience
• Collegiate aviation experience
• FAA Part 121 flight crew experience
• Experience with flight team

Other Requirements:

• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment.
• Applicants must meet accreditation credential requirements to teach college courses.
