About this Role:
The Department of Diagnostic Medicine/Pathobiology (http://www.vet.ksu.edu/education/dmp/) and the Kansas State Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory (KSVDL) at the College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM), Kansas State University (KSU) in beautiful Manhattan, KS has ONE (1) open anatomic pathology residency position.
We are seeking highly motivated, hardworking, balanced, and dependable individuals who have a DVM or equivalent degree, a great sense of humor, a strong interest in veterinary student instruction, and a keen interest in pursuing a life-long career in veterinary anatomic pathology.
Seven (7) board-certified anatomic pathologists with a wide range of expertise recognize the importance of an enriched learning environment and understand the ultimate goal is board certification by the American College of Veterinary Pathologists (ACVP). In addition to the extensive and varied diagnostic case material presented to the Kansas State Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory (KSVDL) each week, there is abundant archived material available for ACVP board preparation as well as creative scholarly activities. Active participation in delivery of the core pathology courses in the veterinary curriculum is an integral part of these positions.
Manhattan is a university town in close proximity to both Kansas City and Wichita, offering a low cost of living but ample opportunities for cultural experience, sports, entertainment, and recreation. The National Bio and Agro-Defense Facility (NBAF) is currently being constructed in close proximity to KSU CVM and will be an excellent resource in the near future.

Required Minimum Qualifications:
• D.V.M. or equivalent degree
• International students must demonstrate proficiency in English by earning a satisfactory score on the TOEFL and providing the TOEFL as part of the application materials

Start Date & Salary Information:
This position is a full-time position annually renewed based on performance for up to 3 years with an anticipated start date of August 1, 2022.
Annual stipend is $35,885 plus a benefits package that includes employee health benefits.
