About This Role:
The College of Arts & Sciences Dean's Office, Student Services Center is hiring for an Office Specialist III. This role will serve as the assistant to the College of Arts & Sciences Academic Coordinator. The Office Specialist III will accurately evaluate students' credit hours, DARS, and applications for graduation. Assume primary responsibility for evaluating transfer hours. Process program plan changes, advisor assignments, quick enrolls, provides KSIS back-up and answers emails from Admissions, the Registrar's Office, and the ArtSci email portal. This position will assist in scheduling, answering phones, and greeting students and their families.

What You'll Need to Succeed:
• Two years relevant experience. Education may be substituted for experience as determined relevant by the agency.
• Bachelor's degree
• Two or more years experience in general office, clerical and administrative support work
• The ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• Demonstrated experience in customer service
• Experience working on a computer and demonstrated ability to effectively use Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
• Ability to handle multiple priorities
• The ability to make independent decisions when necessary
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment.
• Must be available to work Saturdays in June (usually there are two) for New Student Orientation & Enrollment and two Saturdays for Commencement in December and May
