South Dakota State University Hilton M. Briggs Library seeks part-time temporary reference assistance for evenings (5-9 pm) and/or weekends to support student, faculty, staff, and community research.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide in-person, chat, e-mail, and phone reference service on evenings and/or weekends. Assist with other tasks and projects as needed. Oversee student employees.
SALARY: Commensurate with experience. Minimum $30.00 per hour.
BENEFITS: This position is not benefits eligible.

Hilton M. Briggs Library serves all SDSU academic disciplines and holds approximately 680,000 bound volumes, 1 million microforms, and over 600,000 government documents, in addition to 66,700 electronic journals. Reference librarians are available to assist in locating materials and conducting research. The library building offers a variety of collaborative and individual workspaces, including couches, tables, classrooms, study rooms, and quiet areas.
