About This Role:
The Staley School of Leadership Studies is hiring for a Recruitment Coordinator, this position will administer all recruitment activities for the School. The Recruitment Coordinator will play an essential role in promoting the School's mission and the benefits of leadership studies' academic and co-curricular programs to prospective, admitted and current students, and the campus community. The Recruitment Coordinator will engage a diverse audience of prospective students that includes traditional, non-traditional, transfers, non-degree-seeking, military, working professionals, life-long learners and more. This is at full time 12 month Term position. Some of the responsibilities of the position are as follows:
• Serve as the liaison for all coordination with the Office of Recruitment and Admission.
• Coordinate on-campus visits and events for prospective students of the School. This includes representing the academic programs in leadership studies, the university honors programs, nationally competitive scholarships, and co-curricular student programs housed in the Staley School.
• Conduct follow up for all students who indicate interest in leadership studies during the recruitment process. This includes email, phone calls, and coordination with ambassadors to send personalized notes.
• Travel to regional high schools, community colleges and other recruitment events as needed, approximately six events per year.
• Represent the Staley School at university wide recruitment events on campus and off campus This may include tabling events, prospective student meetings, new student orientation, and speaking engagements for small and large groups.
• Serve on committees that support the mission of the Staley School of Leadership Studies to develop knowledgeable, ethical, caring, inclusive leaders for a diverse and changing world
• Other duties as assigned

What You'll Need to Succeed:
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in the college recruiting process or other relationship building role (i.e. sales, employment recruitment, etc.). One year relevant experience
• Experience working in higher education in an administrative or coordinating capacity.
• Proficiency in customer relationship management software (i.e. SalesForce and Slate)
• Ability to work flexible schedule on occasion including weekends for special programs and events.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to engage audiences large and small, and effective written and oral communication
Other Requirements:
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment.
