About This Role:

The Department of Applied Human Sciences, within the College of Health and Human Sciences, is seeking a Research Assistant to join their work on a USDA-funded Family Advocacy Program study at Hill Air Force Base, Utah. This position will serve as the on-site administrator of the sponsored project to facilitate daily implementation of the research project by promoting the program, selecting research participants, designing and implementing database information, and collaborating with the researchers at Kansas State University, Northern Illinois University, and Hill Air Force Base. This position reports to the sponsored project's principal investigator.

In addition, the college received approval from the Kansas Board of Regents to begin a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies program. • Bachelor's degree in liberal arts, human ecology, or business-related field

Preferred Qualifications:

• General knowledge of administration and research methodology at academic institutions

• Experience in conducting research

• Knowledge of domestic violence

• Demonstrated ability to work with confidential materials

• Computer competency
