About This Role:

The Department of Educational Leadership in the College of Education at Kansas State University is seeking applicants for a research associate. The successful applicant will contribute to work in the area of Indigenous Education by (1) collaborating with College of Education faculty in research, publication, and other scholarly endeavors; (2) contributing to curriculum development and related initiatives supporting the delivery of academic programming related to Indigenous Education; and (3) assisting with planning and coordination of local events such as the annual Indigenous Peoples Day Conference (which includes networking and building relationships with scholars nationwide) and Kansas Association for Native American Education gatherings.

What You'll Need to Succeed:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Masters degree

• Experience working in education or related contexts with Indigenous Peoples

Preferred Qualifications:

• Research training and/or skills (qualitative or quantitative)

• Research and/or publication experience with topics relevant to Indigenous education

• Experience in the field of educational leadership and/or policy studies

• Experience teaching in higher education

• Experience using digital teaching and research software, platforms, and other relevant technologies.

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment
