The University of Tennessee Foundation, Inc. (UTFI) is seeking a highly motivated professional to serve on the University of Tennessee Institute of Agriculture (UTIA) Advancement Team in Knoxville. Reporting to the Chief Advancement Officer, the Director of Advancement is responsible for 150 visits, $1 million dollars raised, and 15 proposals annually.
This position’s primary responsibility is to advance the UT Institute of Agriculture with a focus on the efforts of the Herbert College of Agriculture, through identifying, assessing, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding major gift ($25,000+) prospects and annual gift donors. This includes planned giving donors. The position will be the primary point of contact for the Herbert College in setting fundraising, donor, and alumni engagement priorities. This position will work on a team of major-gift fundraisers to meet the fundraising goals of the Institute of Agriculture and the University.
