Job Description:
Description of Duties:
This position is responsible for conducting program activities that facilitate and support the research studies and projects undertaken by the Institute for Traffic Safety Management and Research and assist New York in qualifying for federal highway safety funding. The major responsibilities of this position include implementing New York’s annual statewide seat belt observational survey in accordance with federal requirements, coordinating the planning and implementation of New York’s Annual Highway Safety Symposium, Biennial Walk, Bike and Roll Symposium and other statewide traffic safety events, conducting surveys and other data collection efforts and assisting in the preparation of project reports and other deliverables. This position also maintains and updates ITSMR’s website and social media presence.

Salary Range: $70,000 – $80,000 Depending on experience
