MU TITLE: Educational Program Coordinator III
LOCATION: 2800 Maguire Blvd, Columbia MO

The University of Missouri Fire and Rescue Training Institute (MU FRTI) provides training throughout Missouri and nationally, to volunteer and career firefighters, fire specialists, fire officers, members of industrial and institutional fire brigades, and members of allied emergency services organizations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
40% – Develop and implement design projects in collaboration with FRTI and Extension’s Integrated Marketing Communications team. Design all creative elements (e.g. print ads, digital ads, direct mail, out-of-home) for multi-channel campaigns that align with marketing and creative strategy and are relevant to target audiences, increasing understanding of and differentiating the brand.
40% – Create, schedule, and manage the MU FRTI, LETI, and NACIS social media accounts. Shoot, edit, and archive photos and videos of classes and event for use in all promotional materials. Create, schedule, and manage the MU FRTI, LETI, and NACIS in DotDigital platform.
10% – Enter and edit classes, conferences, and event details in MyExtension, Cvent, and Magento platforms for publishing on website. Collaborate with MU Extension web services to maintain accurate information. Administer and schedule online and blended classes using the Cherwell Portal, Canvas and Catalog platforms. Maintain archived MU FRTI curriculum. Create and distribute Qualtrics course surveys.
5% – Serve on various committees within Extension, FRTI and/or LETI.
5% – Other job-related duties as assigned.
Conduct all activities in accordance with the Civil Rights Acts, Title IX, Rehabilitation, Americans with Disabilities Act and local, state and region affirmative action plans.
LEADERSHIP RECEIVED AND EXERCISED
Administrative supervision is received from the Assistant Director of First Responder Education, Coordinator of the Fire and Rescue Training Institute. Functional supervision may be exercised over a small to medium sized office support staff and student assistants.

Salary Range: $50,638 – $55,000 annually

A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.
