Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree plus five (5) years’ experience working with related data, systems and processes required. Proficiency with relevant computer applications (such as Excel or cloud-based database servers) and business software (e.g. SAP, Faculty Insight, NULook, and/or other HR/financial management systems). Evidence of strong project management and coordination skills, and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and effectively as a team member. Experience maintaining confidentiality and discretion with sensitive information required. Must possess a strong service-centered philosophy. Proficient knowledge with analytics software. Proficient knowledge with statistical software. Excellent grasp of professional standards as related to high level administrative offices. Well-developed administrative and organizational skills. Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
Preferred qualifications:
Master’s degree preferred. Familiarity with University business/human resources processes and procedures, and concerns and issues specifically related to faculty appointments. Experience using SAP preferred. Experience managing large data sets. Expert-level proficiency of computer applications such as Excel, server or cloud-based database server, SAP, and/or equivalent software. Experience with visual data reporting (Tableau preferred) and statistical software (SAS, SPSS, R, etc.). Expertise writing SQL queries for Microsoft SQL Server or Azure is preferred.
