A faculty-level position that involves administration and research at the field and laboratory level. Continuation of current collaborative project between the University of Puerto Rico, USDA APHIS and other local agencies on invasive species in Puerto Rico is highly desired. In addition, the candidate must participate in faculty committees, assessment and continuous improvement activities, and support outreach and general services activities in the department and the Agricultural Experiment Station.
Requirement: Applicants must have a Ph.D in Entomology or related field from an accredited university. Previous experience in insect, biology, ecology, genetics, physiology and virology, biomolecular methods and genomic data analysis, data collection, analysis and publication of results and a record of experience with refereed publications.
