Digital Projects Manager, Library and Archives Paraprofessional 3; WSU Libraries. Full-time, 12-month Civil Service staff position located in Manuscripts, Archives and Special Collections in Terrell Library on the Pullman campus of WSU. The primary responsibility of this position is to serve as a resource for all digital projects and to create, edit, maintain and manage digital collections, provide oversite and reporting on the use of gift and grant funds, supervise student/hourly employees assigned to digital projects, coordinate the schedule of the Manuscripts, Archives & Special Collections (MASC) front desk, monitor and contribute to research for reference requests.
Background Check: This position has been designated by the department to require a background check because it requires access to children or vulnerable adults as defined by RCW 74.34, engages in law enforcement, requires security clearance, interacts with WSU students in a counseling or advising capacity, has access to personal identifying and/or financial information, unsupervised access to university buildings/property, or other business-related need. A background check will not be completed until an initial determination of qualification for employment has been made.

Qualifications: Required: High school graduation or equivalent and three years’ experience in the functional operations of a library or archives. Equivalent education or experience will substitute. One year of experience in digital projects management or one year of experience working with library access tools; one or more years of customer service experience. Preferred: In-depth knowledge of Dublin Core and digital projects management; demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment; excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
Monthly Salary: Range 39 | $3,294 to $4,385 (Steps A – M) | Successful candidates typically begin at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with WAC 357-28.
