Washington, DC – The Association of Public and Land-grant Universities (APLU) and Association for Institutional Research (AIR) today announced they received a $670,000 grant from Ascendium Education Group to pilot a Data Literacy Institute aimed at helping APLU member campuses better use data to increase student success. A network of twelve public universities working collaboratively as part of APLU’s Powered by Publics initiative will pilot the Data Literacy Institute with cross-departmental teams on each of their campuses. The project will help advance APLU and AIR’s longstanding commitment to promoting the use of data to improve retention and completion.
