APLU Announces 15th Annual CADE Distinguished Service Awards

May 14, 2014—APLU today announced the opening of the application period for its 15th annual Commission on Access, Diversity & Excellence (CADE) Distinguished Service Award. All APLU institutions are eligible to apply.

The CADE Distinguished Service Award was established to recognize an individual who has demonstrated sustained accomplishments in one or more of the Commission’s targeted focuses, including providing access and opportunity in higher education; enhancing the undergraduate experience; increasing diversity in the academic community; creating socially beneficial partnerships; and providing leadership related to diversity.

Nominations for the award are due July 18, 2014 and should be accompanied by a description of the nominee’s accomplishments relative to the selection criteria. The winner will be announced at the CADE Awards Luncheon on Sunday, November 2, 2014 during the APLU Annual Meeting in Orlando, Florida.
